Larry Neil Butler

Mr. Larry Neil Butler, age 63, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Butler was born February 24, 1946 in Villa Rica, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. T. J. Butler and the late Mrs. Helen Lucille Humphries Butler. He was a member of Fullerville Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia and he worked in the Engineering Department with Wellstar Paulding Hospital. In addition to his parents, Mr. Butler was preceded in death by Paulette Ricks Butler and his brother Melvin Douglas Butler. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Tanny and Thomas East, Valarie Butler and Cecelia and Sonny Brown, all of Villa Rica; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Rev. Donald Butler of Temple and Rev. Terry and Deborah Butler, of Griffin; his grandchildren, Lauren Seals, Hannah Seals, Emily East, Penny and Tim Hunt, Brian Butler, Caroline Brown and Tyson Brown; his great-grandchildren, Matthew Hunt and Hayden Hunt; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, April 17, 2009 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Don Butler and Rev. Terry Butler officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be John Lafitte, Julius Parrish, Eugene Wortham, Thomas Cason, Dorsey Swann, Caleb Butler, James Butler and Phil Dewberry. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 7:00PM until 9:00PM and Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 12:00Noon until 8:00PM.
