Larry Daniel Parker, 86, of Douglasville, Ga, a beloved husband, father, granddaddy and friend. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 14,2025. He was born on January 6, 1939, in Abbeville, Al. The son of the late John C. Parker and the late Roxie A. Culpepper Parker.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force; he served his country with honor and integrity. After his military career, he became an electrician at the American Can Company for 36 years. Larry was a devoted husband to his wife, Janice and loving father to his daughters, Margaret (deceased), April, and Lynn.
He is survived by his wife, son-in-law Robert Cole, daughters April (Jimmy) Morris, and Lynn (Mark) Roberts; grandchildren, Lindsey (James) Rayburn, Britney (Chris) Comptois, Parker (Shanna) Morris, AJ Davis, and Megan (Devin) Nolan; great grandchildren, Cole, Brady, Cohen, Merrit, Rhodes, Jameson, Isla, Ava, Trevor, and Madison.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm immediately following, The Memorial service will be held in the Chapel at 12:00pm with Dr. F. Bobby Atkins officiating.
