Larry Raymond Flowers, 80, long time resident of Carrollton, Georgia died December 16 at a local hospital. He had been sick for several years and was a patient at Countrywide Health Center. He was born on June 16, 1939 in Gadsden, Alabama to the late James Ethredge Flowers and Jewel Temple Flowers. He was a graduate of Carrollton High School, attended West Georgia College, and graduated from Atlanta Law School. He worked at Lockhead-Marietta, Terminal Transport, and later was a local business owner.
He is survived by his wife, Cassandra Washington Flowers, son Michael (Sibby) Flowers, M.D. of Farragut, Tennessee, and two grandsons, Chris and Alex. There are no services planned at this time, but at a later date there will be a scattering of the ashes and celebration of his life.
