Mrs. Laura Mae Marrow Gilreath, age 80, of Villa Rica, passed away, Thursday, May 7, 2015. She was born June 19, 1934 in Paulding County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Foster Morrow and the late Mrs. Irene Walker Morrow. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Gilreath; son, Tommy Jean Gilreath; brothers, Eugene Morrow, Ray Morrow, Buna Morrow; sisters, Frances Taylor and Margaret Taylor.She is survived by her daughters, Mary Gilreath of Villa Rica, Beverly Higginbotham of Villa Rica, Patricia Mauldin of Villa Rica; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Dorothy Gilreath of Villa Rica, Rev. Michael and Anita Gilreath of Carrollton, Johnny Gilreath of Temple; brothers, James Morrow of Henry County; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, May 8, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Truman Golden, Rev. Chip Daniell and Rev. Jerry McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica.
