Mrs. Laura “Clarice” Hudson League, age 90, of Douglas County, Georgia passed away Friday, February 1, 2019. She was born in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Luther Hudson and the late Mrs. Dessalee Marr Hudson. Mrs. League worked in environmental services at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Mableton.In addition to her parents, Mrs. League is proceeded in death by her husband, Henry Arling League; her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Russell and Preston Russell; her brothers, Glenn Hudson and Darnell Hudson; and her sisters, Lillie Mae Wilkerson, Mildred Hudson and Bernice Baxter.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine League Rogers and Chris Rogers of Douglasville and the “Golden Child”, Rachel “Punk” Robider of Acworth; her sisters and brother-in-law, Azzie Lee Faulkner of Newnan and Mary Hudson Fowler and Louis Fowler of Buchanan; grandchildren, Angela Denise Cox and Frank Cox and Danny Scott Goodson; great grandchildren, Lauralee Cody, Tanner B. Goodson and Mercedes Cheyenne Goodson; great great grandchild, Trenton Elrod; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM. Funeral Services will be conducted from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Douglasville, Monday, February 4, 2019 at 2:00PM with Pastor Billy Lord and Pastor Dennis Reece officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Denver Kittles, Robert Kittles, Jimmy Baxter, Mickel Baxter, David Urquilla and Randy Atkins. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville.
