Mrs. Laura Sue Taylor, age 77, of Lithia Springs, passed away, Friday, July 24, 2015. She was born December 12, 1937 in Roanoke, AL the daughter of the late Mr. John Reuben Wade and Mrs. Evie Fowler Wade. She retired from Inner Harbor. Mrs. Taylor worked in the Douglas County lunchrooms, Lithia Springs High School, Annette Winn Elementary and Lawrenceville Youth Systems. She loved hosting dinners for Missionaries to go on trips. She was a member of Lithia Springs Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike Wade and Jim WadeShe is survived by her husband, Robert H. Taylor of Lithia Springs; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Randy Starbuck of Horn Lake, Ms., Cindy Taylor of Lithia Springs and Cheryl and Gary Thornton of Dallas, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Renea Taylor of Albertville, AL; sisters and brothers âin-law, Margaret and Larry Ducker of Moore, SC and Carolyn and John Mumford of Ball Ground, GA; grandchildren, Billy and Crystal Vaughn, Robert and Megen Vaughn, Peyton Johnson, Torie Taylor, Angela Thornton, Emily Taylor; six great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Vicki Wade of Camp Hill, AL several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Monday, July 27, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. James Cowan officiating.
