Laura Yearta

Laura Ann Yearta, 24, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015. She was born July 28, 1990 in South Chicago Heights, Illinois. During her days in high school, she was involved with theatre and HOSA. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Lucille Langford; paternal grandparents, Thelma and Allen Yearta; and grandmother by choice, Helen Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Mikaela Hemby; mother and stepfather, Sherri Yearta and Tommy Brown of Douglasville; father and stepmother, Charlie and Shirl Yearta of Joelton, TN; sisters, Amber Yearta (Cody Kennedy) of San Francisco, CA and Abby Yearta (Randall Barron) of Douglasville; brothers, David (Kristle) Yearta of Scott’s Bluff, Nebraska, Matt Yearta of Augusta, GA, and James (Rebecka) Bone of Woodstock, GA; special nephews, Ryan, R.J., and Patrick Barron; several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. According to the family’s wishes, the body was cremated.
