Lawrence Stacks

Mr. Lawrence “Larry” Lesley Stacks, age 50, of McDonough, passed away, Tuesday, August 5, 2014. He was born December 23, 1963 in Miami, FL the son of the late Mr. George Edward Stacks and Mrs. Catherine Bly Manion Stacks. He loved fishing. Mr. Stacks was also a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Georgia. He worked for Global Payments as an IT Architect for many years.He is survived by his wife, Leslie Jill Hill Stacks of McDonough; daughters, Katie Stacks of Milledgeville and Heather West-Knight of McDonough; his mother, Catherine Bly Manion Stacks; sister, Page Stacks Cade of Douglasville; one granddaughter, Lola. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church of Douglasville with Pastor Fred Blalock officiating.
