Lee Berry Driver

Mr. Lee Berry Driver, 57, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 08, 2007, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia. Mr. Driver was born September 11, 1949 in Carroll County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Oscar Driver and the late Mrs. Latha Lee Blalock Driver. Mr. Driver retired from Georgia Power after twenty-eight years of service and worked as a truck driver for Arnold Transportation in Austell. Mr. Driver was a member of Consolation Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and father. Survivors include his wife, Kay Williams Driver; daughter, Amy Driver; son, Robert Driver, and several nieces and nephews as well as many other special relatives. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM from Consolation Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Georgia with Rev. Mike Powers officiating. Mr. Driver will lie in state from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Consolation Baptist Church Cemetery in Whitesburg, Georgia. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Timmy Mattox, Tom Sims, Charlie Arrington, Gary Matthews, Mike Jones, Ian Powers, Jeff Pennington and Harry Mansell. The family will be receiving friends in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, March 11, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
