Mr. Lee Roy Cole, age 62, of Palmetto, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. He was born October 6, 1957, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the son of the late Mr. LeRoy Paul Cole and Mrs. Loraine Theresa Salvi Burris. Mr. Cole worked as a diesel mechanic. He loved to ride motorcycles and was an Elvis Presley impersonator. Mr. Cole was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sandra Ogletree Cole of Palmetto; his sons, Devon Cole, Montana Cole, Donnie Cole and Cody Cole, all of Pine Mountain, Georgia; his mother, Loraine Theresa Salvi Burris of Douglasville, Georgia; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Rick Bodane of Atlanta, Georgia, Darlene Gordon of Douglasville, Georgia, and Debbie and Tom Erwin of Kennesaw, Georgia; his brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Linda Barnes of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, September 9, 2020, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglasville. Funeral services will be conducted from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 2:00PM with Chaplains Steve Edwards and Sam Braswell officiating.
In accordance with Mr. Cole's wishes, he will be cremated.
