Lee Roy New

Mr. Lee Roy New, 82 of Hwy 5, Douglasville, GA passed away, Monday, March 23, 2009 at Douglas Hospital in Douglasville. He was born, May 9, 1926 in Geneva, Alabama the son of the late Jacob A. New and the late Mrs. Ida Mae Adams New. He was a carpenter and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Johnson New. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Jacob and Bernice New of Powder Springs. Nieces and nephews, Chris and Sandy New, Ray New, Calvin New, Gerald New and Dale Bragg. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Pain officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Paulding County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 11:00 Am until 1:00 PM.
