Lenora Brown

Mrs. Lenora Starr Brown, age 87, of Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. She was born August 15, 1926 in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late Mr. Mereer Starr and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Coker Starr. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harry Brown and sister, Mary Roddy.She was survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Richard Grams of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Dana Johnson of Winston; step-daughter, Pamela Brown of Stone Mountain; step-son, James H. Brown, Jr. of FL.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howell and Pat Starr of FL. and John and Sandy Starr of FL.; four grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also so survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Friday, August 8, 2014 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Friday, August 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. John Pennington and Evangelist Larry Musick officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Douglasville, 5900 Presley Mill Road, Douglasville, GA 30135.
