Mrs. Lenora âHoneyâ Shadix Perrin Williams, 89, of Austell, Georgia; formerly of Villa Rica passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. She was born November 9, 1918 in Haralson County Georgia, daughter of the late Charles Benjamin Shadix and the late Sara Elizabeth Price Shadix. Mrs. Williams was a member of the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was Villa Rica Mother of the Year in 1985. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and had a deep seeded love for children. She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star, the Villa Rica Senior Citizens, she loved ceramics, quilting, sewing, and cooking. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her first husband, James Perrin who was killed during World War II; 2nd husband of over 52 years, Mr. Harold Dorris Williams, two sisters, Geneva Scooter Harper, Annie Jack Crews, and one brother, Eldridge Buck Shadix. Mrs. Williams is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Tommy Sanders of Conyers; two sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis L. and Rachel Perrin of Austell and Mickey and Carol Perrin of Lexington, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Patti and Paul Allen of Carrollton, Jim Perrin of Lafayette, IN, Christy and John Jacobs of Charlotte, NC, Pamela and Dave Carver of Seneca, SC, Katie and Lee Harper, Kevin Sanders, and Kyle Sanders all of Conyers; ten great grandchildren, niece, Jackie S. Waldrop, and nephews, Donald Shadix, Lawrence Shadix, and Michael Crews.. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Dr. J. B. Marlow, and Rev. Don Hazel officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in the Garden of Gethsemane with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jim Perrin, Kevin Sanders, Kyle Sanders, Matt Allen, Lee Harper, John Jacobs, Donald Shadix, and Michael Crews. Members of the Fidelis Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
