Leonard Joseph Ganzer Mr. Leonard “Lenny” Joseph Ganzer, age 71, of Douglasville passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011. He was born May 24, 1940 in St. Paul, MN, the son of the late Mr. Julius J. Ganzer and the late Mrs. Regina Kujawa Ganzer. He served in the United States Navy. He retired in 2007 from Fabrico in Atlanta. He was an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Ingram Ganzer. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Kevin Reynolds of Isanti, MN, Leah and Jamey Ahlgrim of Red Wing, MN; sons, Lenny, Jr., Scott and Steve; step daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Johnny Aldridge of Marietta, Becky and Robert Boleman of Lithia Springs; step sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Sharon Green of Midawy, David and Joan Green of Acworth, Ronnie and Pat Green of Coden, AL., Randy and Mandy Green of Twin City, Paul and Ken Green of Carrollton, Ken and Betty Green of Dallas; brothers and sister-in-law, Bill and Edna Ganzer of MN, Don Ganzer of MN, Gene Ganzer of MN; sister and bother-in-law, Janet and Billy Schmitt of MN; four grandchildren, Shelby, Kaitlyn, Emily, Joshua; twenty three step grandchildren, twenty two step great grandchildren, one step great-great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Talmadge Chandler officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Messages of condolences may be sent from www.jones-wynn.com.
