Mr. Lewis Darnell Hudson, 72, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born December 19, 1935 in Paulding County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Luther Calvin Hudson and the late Mrs. Dessie Lee Marrow Hudson. He was a member of Antioch Holiness Church in Lithia Springs where he served as a deacon. He worked as a route salesman. He was devoted to the Lord and his beloved family. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lillie Mae Wilkerson, Burnice Baxter, and Mildred New; brother, Glen Hudson. He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Griner Hudson of Lithia Springs; daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Ronald Devlin of Newnan, Cathy and Wesley Padgett of McDonough, Carey and David Urquilla of Franklin; son and daughter, in law, Lewis Tommy and Martha Hudson of Senoia; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Carl Bell of Twin City and Tina and Darin Hanson of Oraville, CA; sisters, Azzilee Faulkner of Newnan, Clarice League of Douglasville and Mary Ruth Davis of Mableton; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. John Mays and Rev. Phil Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Friday, June 6, 2008 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
