Lil Walls Gordon Robertson

Mrs. Lil Walls Gordon Robertson, age 83, of Midfield, Alabama passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Grace Assisted Living in Douglasville, Georgia. She was born July 11, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Forrest Walls and Mrs. Alice Burgess Walls. She worked in the Medical Records Department of the Baptist Medical Center in Princeton for over 30 years. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Bessemer. For many years she did volunteer work in the gift shop of Lloyd Noland Hospital in Fairfield and volunteered for the Midfield Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Gordon; second husband, Frank Osborne; third husband, Clyde Robertson; and one infant son. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Dr. Richard Kinsey of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, John Hilton Gordon and Pam Self Gordon of Texas; 3 grandchildren, Adrienne Gunselman and her husband David of Arley, AL, Kathryn Kinsey of San Francisco, and Robin Gordon of the University of Alabama; several step-children, nieces and nephews also survive. A private graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at Crumly Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery at 336 Crumly Chapel Road, Birmingham, AL 35214.
