Lila L. Terry Hardy

Mrs. Lila L. Terry Hardy, 88, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. She was born February 22, 1919 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Lee Livingston Terry and the late Mrs. Leonora Graham Terry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs. She retired as a accountant from Continental Insurance Company. She was a member of the Lithia Springs Women’s Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hardy; sisters, Lottie Addle Moore and Amy Elizabeth Clark; brothers, Lee Livingston Terry, Jr., Robert Bartow Terry, and Richard Graham Terry. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nell Marie Powell Carter and Clyde Leonard Carter of Marietta; one son, David Lee Powell of Mableton; step-son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Lee Hardy of Clayton; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Marion Beaver officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Austell. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, April 9, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
