Lillian Christine Brown

Mrs. Lillian Christine Brown, age 86, of Temple passed away Saturday, November 14, 2010. She was born April 17, 1924 the daughter of the late Mr. Melvin Franklin Honea and the late Mrs. Pearl Webb Honea. She was a homemaker and loved to cross stitch. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia. She delivered Meals on Wheels in Douglasville for twelve years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ben M. Brown; brothers, Leonard Honea and Donald Honea. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Rick Ford of Temple; son, Michael L. Brown of Hudson, FL; grandchildren, Staci and Shane Benson, Keri and Jamie Portwood, and John Scroggins; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Portwood, Mary Portwood, Evan Benson and Ella Benson. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica with Rev. Gerald Sailors officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
