Mrs. Lillian Ovelia Busby Ivey, 87, of North Dogwood Street, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 15, 2005 at her residence. She was born November 26, 1918, in Paulding County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late William Ollie Busby and the late Nora Bell Perren Busby. Mrs. Ivey was a member of First Baptist Church of Villa Rica where she sang in the GOLD Choir and was a member of the FIDELIS Sunday School Class and WMU. She was a retired seamstress for the Camp Cap Company. Mrs. Ivey was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Fulton Ivey and one brother, William âBillâ Busby. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Fran and Lacey Robinson of Carrollton; four sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Peggy Ivey, Hal and Gail Ivey of Villa Rica, Lazelle and Betsy Ivey of Marietta and Lance and Julie Ivey of Carrollton; one sister, Myra Nell Jordan of Villa Rica; and two brothers Wallace Busby of Stockbridge and Jack Busby of Villa Rica, six grandchildren, Clint and Rachel Robinson, Clay and Rachel Robinson, Chad and Jamie Ivey, Charley Ivey, Blake Ivey and Amanda Ivey; two step-grandchildren, Brandon Herring and Ashley Herring; seven great-grandchildren, Cody Ivey, Chandler Ivey, Addie Robinson, Samuel Robinson, McKenzie Ivey, Will Robinson and Lilly Robinson; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with the Dr. J. B. Marlow officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Rev. Ben Pilgreen. Pallbearers will be Clint Robinson, Clay Robinson, Chad Ivey, Charlie Ivey, Blake Ivey and Stewart Blake. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Paulding County, Georgia.
