Lillian Sherwood Hildreth Bright

Mrs. Lillian Sherwood Hildreth Bright, 83, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Heartland Hospice in Austell. She was born June 11, 1925 in Boston, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Mr. Clarence Hildreth and the late Mrs. Gladys Doolittle Hildreth. She married John H. Bright on June 19, 1948 in Rutherford, New Jersey. She was a member of the Christ the King Anglican Church in Douglasville. She worked as a legal secretary. Mrs. Bright enjoyed playing the piano. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John H. Bright of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Scott Farrer of Douglasville; sons and daughters-in-law, Louise and Sandy Paris Bright of Tucson, AZ, Kevin and Margarita Bright of Phoenix, AZ, John Bright of Monmouth, OR, and Fred Bright of Plainville, CT; 7 grandchildren and 2 nieces, Susan Enright and Kathy Enright. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, September 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Father Ed Warner officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Sunday, September 21, 2008 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
