Lillie Bell Williamson Powell

Mrs. Lillie Bell Williamson Powell, age 78, of Post Road, Winston, GA passed away, Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. She was born April 3, 1931 in Temple, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Richmond Williamson and the late Mrs. Lillian Clockley Williamson. She was retired from the Temple Dry Cleaners where she was a presser and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was dedicated to her family, and enjoyed sewing and singing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Powell. Survivors include 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Roy Burton of Winston and Betty Luke and Willie Brown of Temple, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Hayes Glass Church of Christ in Bremen with Brother Robert Woods officiating. Musical will be provided by the Hayes Glass Church. Interment will follow in the Asbury Cemetery in Temple.
