Lillie McGuire

Mrs. Lillie Doris Taylor McGuire, age 86, of Villa Rica, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013. She was born December 26, 1926 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Willie Lee Taylor and the late Mrs. Mary Lillian Cowart Taylor. She was a homemaker.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Walton McGuire; sisters, Clera Cook, Reba Taylor; brother, Willie Taylor and grandchild, Anthony Stephen McGuire She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Lanny Hobbs of Villa Rica; sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Beverly McGuire of Bremen, Stanley and Ann McGuire of Temple; sisters, Betty Key of Whitesburg, Edna Key of Carrollton, Jackie Wright of Whitesburg, and Judy Sanders of Whitesburg; brothers, Ray Taylor of Carrollton, Milford Taylor of Whitesburg, Calvin Taylor of Whitesburg; five grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, July 19, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Gordon and Rev. Bobby Smallwood officiating.
