Lillie Smith Wilson

Mrs. Lillie Smith Wilson, age 82, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. She was born August 5, 1927 in Dallas, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Judson Smith and the late Mrs. Oziedelle McBrayer Smith. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Villa Rica and was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Ray Wilson on July 19, 1986; and daughter, Jane Matthews. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Kevin Fanelty of Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law, Randall Ray and Mary Ellen Wilson of Carrollton and Eddie Franklin and Janet Wilson of Villa Rica; sisters, Ruby Graham and Dolly Bone both of Dallas; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Allen officiating and Dorothy Seals delivering a eulogy. Musical selections will be provided by Dennis Agan and Sherry Flowers. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Villa Rica. The following will serve as pallbearers: Kalem Wilson, Shannon Wilson, Chris Cordell, Daren Matthews, Jeff Matthews, Jon Matthews, Stephen Craddock, and Ronnie Cohran. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Messages of condolence to the family may be sent from www.jones-wynn.com.
