Linda Ann Defnall Mezick

Linda Ann Defnall Mezick, age 73, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020. She was born February 17, 1947, in Lithia Springs, Georgia, the daughter of the late Charles Eugene Defnall and the late Ina Lou Smith. Mrs. Mezick was a graduate of Douglas County High School. She worked for and retired from Coca-Cola in accounts payable. After retiring from the Coca-Cola Company, she worked as a receptionist for over 10 years at Northwest Exterminating. Mrs. Mezick loved to travel, especially to the beach. She enjoyed casinos, cooking and baking. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James William Mezick; her son, Kenneth Mezick; her brother, Gary Defnall; and her sisters, Merica Dee Tyson and Doris Simpson. Mrs. Mezick is survived by her son, Jeffrey Mezick of Lithia Springs; her sister, Cathy Thomas of Douglasville; her brother, Robert Defnall of Douglasville; her grandson, Justin Thomas Mezick; and several nieces and nephews. We are still providing services to our families based on CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Private graveside services will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville.
