Linda Daniel Ballew Mrs. Linda Daniel Ballew, age 60, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. She was born September 3, 1950 in Young Harris, Georgia the daughter of Mrs. Essie Brooks Daniel and the late Mr. William Wayne Daniel. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and worked as a customer service representative for Lincoln Electric. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ballew on December 31, 2006 and sister, Patricia Ann Lasater on January 18, 2008. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny Wayne and Judy Ballew of Lithia Springs; her mother, Essie Brooks Daniel of Lithia Springs; sisters, Nancy McVey of Covington, Janet Hilgerson of College Park, and Irene Reece of Kennesaw; brothers, Charles Daniel of Hixon, TN, Tony Daniel of Jacksonville, FL, Kenny Fuller of Marysville, KY, and Ricky Jordan of St. Helen’s OR; 3 grandchildren, Brittany Lee Ballew, Sarah Brooke Ballew, and Danny Wayne Ballew; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Alton Williams officiating Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. The following will serve as pallbearers: Charlie Daniel, Allyn Daniel, Samuel Lasater, David Terrell, Allen Stewart, and Justin McVey. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
