Linda Dover

Mrs. Linda Irene Buford Dover, age 66, of Villa Rica, passed away, Sunday, June 23, 2013, after a long illness. She was born February 7, 1947 in Atlanta the daughter of the late Mr. George Thomas Buford and the late Mrs. Luenell Grizzly Grant Buford. She worked for Shick Molding and Leggett & Platt Company for many years. She was a long time member of Northwest Baptist Church in Atlanta.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Dora Star Vines and Bonnie Kay Hawkins.She is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Dover of Villa Rica; sons, Mark Hawkins of Villa Rica, Mickey Hawkins of Cumming, Danny Earl Hawkins of Villa Rica; sisters, Era Parker of Atlanta, Patricia Stockton of Hiwassee; brother, Gary Buford of Copperfield, TN; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
