Linda Evans

Mrs. Linda Dialene Capes Evans, age 69, of Villa Rica, passed away, Wednesday, January 23, 2019. She was born January 1, 1950 in Carrollton the daughter of the late Mr. J.C. Capes and Mrs. Martha Lee Latimer Capes. Mrs. Evans loved fishing, writing, working in her yard, playing horseshoes, making quilts for babies and making banana pudding. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stevie “Pete” Capes. She is survived by her daughter, Angie Morgan of Dallas; sons; Anthony Lively of Villa Rica, Greg Lively of Villa Rica, Dean Slayton of Villa Rica; mother, Martha Lee Latimer Capes of Temple; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Thompson and Larry Maney of Bremen, Brenda Collins of Temple; brother, Ronnie Capes of Villa Rica; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. John George and Rev. Larry Argo officiating.
