Linda Jo Lane

Linda Jo Lane, 75, of Temple, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024. She was born on March 24, 1948, the daughter of the late Author Crawford Ellis and the late Mary Elizabeth Griffis.

Family meant the world to Linda, especially her great-grandchildren. Linda was a woman of faith and she attended church at Faith Missionary Baptist of Villa Rica. 

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Dennis Lane; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Mark Maddox of Douglasville, Stacie and Kenny Harrison of Bowdon; sister, Vicki Yarbrough of Leeds, Alabama, brother, Freddy and Ronnie Ellis of Hoover, Alabama; grandchildren, Kathryn Camp, Gregory and Briauna Smith, Alex and Samantha Green, Kerri Harrison, Andrew and Rhiannon Maddox and Michael Camp; great-grandchildren, A.C. Camp, Sophia Camp, Eli Camp, Aleister Green, Henry Leo Green, Zaiel Smtih; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the Jones-Wynn Villa Rica Chapel. Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park.
