Linda Diane Pirkle

Linda Diane Wilkerson Pirkle, 72, of Villa Rica, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025. She was born on October 29, 1952 in Atlanta to the late Gladys and Jimmy Wilkerson. She lived a life full of love and simple pleasures.

Mrs. Linda had several hobbies, including cooking for her friends. She made sure that her loved ones always had plenty to eat. Linda also enjoyed taking day trips, spending quality time with her family and she could often be found enjoying a hot cup of coffee. She was a selfless woman who had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ross Paul Pirkle and son, Paul Pirkle, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Melissa Pirkle of Douglasville, Melinda (Daryl) Watson of Waco and Sonya Swafford of Villa Rica; sons and daughter-in-law, Carlos Pirkle of Villa Rica and Carl (Julie) Pirkle of Temple; sister, Betty Jordon of South Carolina; grandchildren, Matthew Pirkle, Ethan Pirkle, Dustin Pirkle, John Pirkle, Brittany Reck, Jesse Pirkle, Briana Pirkle, Nickolas Swafford, Kristen Watson, Megan Drumm, Ashleigh Pirkle and Kevin Pirkle; 14 great grandchilden; as well as special friend, Amy Creel.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with interment to follow at West Georgia Memorial Park in Carrollton.
