Linda Sharon Rabern, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, departed this world on March 29, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on September 26, 1948, in San Jose, California, to the late Mr. Earl Lee Sherman and the late Mrs. Frances Elaine Speed-Sherman.
As a beloved elementary school teacher, Linda devoted her life to nurturing young minds and instilling a love for learning in her classroom at Colonial Hills Christian School. She was more than just an educator; she was a beacon of joy and positivity. Her wonderful, infectious laugh could light up any room.
Being an active member of her church community, Linda found great joy in music, often singing in the choir and sharing her passion with others. Linda’s interests were as diverse as her talents. She enjoyed playing board games, piecing together puzzles, crocheting, reading, and sewing. Each hobby was a way for her to connect with her creativity and pass on cherished handmade gifts to her loved ones.
Most of all, Linda was a loving wife and devoted mother to her four children, roles that she cherished deeply.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Linda Rabern is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Malcolm Warren Rabern; brothers, Earl Lee Sherman, and Almon Patrick Sherman; sisters, Mary J. Sherman, and Norma Jean Sherman Krause.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Bethany Rabern (Andrew) Glover of Sharpsburg GA, Sharon Rabern (Henry) Byrd of Canton GA, Ginger Lee Rabern of Woodstock GA, and Andrew Warren Rabern of Woodstock GA; sister, Shirley Frances Sherman Tidwell of Maggie Valley NC; 10 grandchildren, Abigail Rose Glover, Rachel Leigh Glover, Jonathan David Glover, Hannah Lane Byrd, Ella Kenzie Byrd, Henry Woodson Pash III, Malcolm Rabern Pash, Ivie Lee Pash, Ansley Brooke Rabern, and Andrew Warren Rabern Jr.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
