Linda Stallings

Mrs. Linda Ruth Summers Stallings, age 64, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. She was born February 2, 1948 in Atlanta the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Bryan Summers, Sr. and the late Mrs. Lois Geraldine Carter. She worked for Golden City Hosiery for 23 years. She loved working in the yard, picnics by the lake, the mountains and most of all her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Charles Summers. She is survived by her husband Wayne Stephen Stallings, Sr. of Temple; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne Stephen and Carol Stallings, Jr. of Temple; daughter and son-in-law, Marcy and Danny Fleming of Temple; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah Diane and Mark Harper of Temple; brother, Jody Bryan Summers of Temple; brother-in-law, William and Rose Stallings of Temple; uncle, Billy Carter of Gwinnett; grandchildren, Cody Stallings, Brittany Fleming, Jenna Fleming and Caitlin Stallings. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, May 25, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Harper officiating.
