Linda Talley

Mrs. Linda Silvey Talley, age 62, of Portland, Oregon, formerly of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2012 at her home in Oregon. She was born February 9, 1950 in Villa Rica, Georgia, the daughter of Mr. Raymond Silvey and the late Mrs. Billie Frances Keaton Silvey. Linda fought valiantly against Acute Leukemia and was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Mrs. Talley was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse from Tanner Medical Center. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her generosity, kind spirit and quick wit are what endeared her to all that knew her. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Silvey and Matthew Silvey. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer and Bill Dunn of Carrollton, Leigh Bohannon of Portland, OR; son, Scott and Cristy Bohannon of Carrollton; father, Raymond Silvey of Carrollton; sister, Glenda Grizzard of Roseburg, OR; brother, Mark Silvey of Villa Rica; granddaughters, Madison Powell, Silvey Rosser, Hannah Rosser; grandson, Jerimy Bohannon; great grandson, Tyler Bohannon. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Bishop Jon Anderson officiating.
