Linda Turner

Mrs. Linda “Mama Ann” Turner, 74, of Bremen, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 3, 1942 the daughter of the late Mr. Jessie Martin and the late Mrs. Pearl Chambers. She was a House Mom and she loved her role of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to shop. She loved cooking meals for everyone. She loved being a mother to all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Turner, Jr. on January 14, 2016; daughter, Brenda McDuffie; son, James Higgins; and sister, Flora Gabriel. She is survived by her son, Marty Turner of Bremen; two daughters, Rosa Khayat of Fairburn and Linda DeRegnaucourt of Panama City, FL; sister, Geraldine of Alabama; brother, Tommy Johnson of Alabama; 10 grandchildren, Ashley, Harlie, Brandy, Nicholas, Sonya, Logan, Justin, Ryan, Marissa, Austin and Jadacey; ten great-grandchildren, Roarke, Alexander, Araebella, Preston, Destiny, Garrett, Sarah, Gunner, Penelope, and Chase; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville.
