Linda Way Hitt

Mrs. Linda Way Hitt, age 61, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Hearland Hospice in Austell. Mrs. Hitt was born August 20, 1947 in Louisville, Georgia the daughter of the late Oscar Lee Way, Jr. and the late Mrs. Fannie Louellen Bryant Way. She was a homemaker and beloved grandmother, and a member of the Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Dallas, Georgia. She is survived by her beloved husband, Mr. Ronald Hitt; daughters and sons-in law Melissa and James Shoffner of Douglasville, Wendy and Deryl Sisson of Douglasville, and Pixie Hitt of Douglasville; sisters Barbara Poole of Atlanta, Betty and John Troy of Douglasville; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Douglas Chapel of the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Assistant Pastor Jessie Shoffner and Pastor James Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens, Lithia Springs.
