Linda Sue Willingham

Linda Sue Cross Willingham, 71, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025. She was born on July 8, 1953 in Brewster, Washington, to the late Eva May Sanders Cross and Edgar Roy Cross.

Linda's life was led by an immense love for her family and a strong Christian faith - Jesus always came first. Linda loved absolutely everyone and would do anything and everything for her family and friends. She was known by her family members as being the best wife, mom, and mawmaw that anyone could ask for. As her kids grew, she paid special attention to loving and disciplining them. Linda wanted them to know how special they were to her, and she made sure they all knew how to become successful adults.

Linda's legacy will live on through the joy, faith, and happiness that she instilled in everyone that she knew.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Cross; and brother, Dewayne Cross.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donnie Willingham of Villa Rica; son, Joseph Derrick Willingham of Bremen; daughter and son in law, Jamie Willingham Parr and Eric Parr of Roopville; brothers, Stanley Cross and Eddie Cross; grandchildren, Taylor Grant Willingham, Ashton Brook Willingham, Abigail "Abby" Leigh Willingham, Bradley Joseph Willingham, Kaleb Luke Parr; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Jones Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel with interment to follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
