Linda York Gordon

Ms. Linda York Gordon, 64, of Bremen, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. She was born April 13, 1943 in Wilkes County, NC the daughter of the late Mr. Robert C. York and the late Mrs. Dorothy A. Church York. Ms. Gordon worked in the administrative field. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by three daughters and two son-in-laws, Tammy and Dwayne Camp of Bremen, Kathy and Frank Jackson of Hiram, and Margie Chastain of McDonough; one sister, Sally Stillman of Milledgeville; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; two nieces also survive. Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Herman Parker officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Tuesday, October 9, 2007 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
