Lois Hanson

Mrs. Lois Mason Hanson, 75, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016. She was born January 19, 1941 in Sumiton, Alabama the daughter of the late Mr. John Thomas Mason and the late Mrs. Dovie Jane Cross Mason. Lois had a strong work ethic and had worked until two weeks ago. She worked as a Real Estate Agent for Benchmark Homes in Douglasville for over 28 years. She was devoted to family, always putting her children before herself. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen. She is survived by two daughters, Carmen May of Douglasville and Candice Hanson of Douglasville; four beloved grandchildren, Taylor Hanson, Joshua May, Faith May and Gabriel May. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Father Mark Thomas officiating.
