Mrs. Lois Lucille Worthan Bolding, 85, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Friday, August 26, 2005 at Atlanta Medical Center. She was born January 13, 1920 in Douglasville, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Warner Worthan and the late Mrs. Katie Harper Worthan. She was a member of Sunset Hills Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved to sew and cook and made the best biscuits, fruitcake and asparagus casserole. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter S. Bolding, Jr. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Gene Wilson of Roswell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Carole Greene of Douglasville, Jimmie and Libby Greene of Carrollton; one sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Tommy Foster of Douglasville; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Claude and Vaughn Worthan of Douglasville, Carl and Betty Worthan, Richard and Joyce Worthan, Raymond and Pat Worthan; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 28, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with the Rev. R.C. âIkeyâ Watson officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Shay W. Powell. Pallbearers will be Joey Kilian, Mike Greene, Jamey Greene, Rusty Greene, Matt Greene and Burnie Berry. Interment will follow in Douglasville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Saturday, August 27, 2005 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
