Lois Shead

Mrs. Lois J. Kelley Shead, age 81, of Villa Rica, passed away, Wednesday, June 12, 2019. She was born February 23, 1938 in Ward Hollow, WV the daughter of the late Mr. Lewis Grafton Kelley and the late Mrs. Jewel Evelyn Proctor Kelley. Mrs. Shead retired from the Douglas County School System after many years of service as a bus driver. She enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Guys and Dolls Fishing Club with her husband. She loved spending time with her family.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Jack L. Womack and Ralph T. Shead; brother, William Kelley; sister, Virginia Blevins. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel Womack and fiancé, Leonard McLarty of Waco, Kelley and Darryl Pinson of Kearney, MO, Tracie and Stacey Bell of Winston; grandchildren, Jessica, Levi, Morgan, Wade, Payton, and Alaina; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Beau; several nieces and nephews also survive. A Celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the family home. Messages of condolence may be sent the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
