Mrs. Lois Timmons Moore, 94, of Temple, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Higgins General Hospital in Bremen, Georgia. She was born March 4, 1911, in Douglas County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Jim Timmons and the late Hattie Baskins Timmons. Mrs. Moore was the oldest member of First Baptist Church in Temple. She was a homemaker and had worked at Arrow Shirt Company. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, George Frank Moore in 1985 and her son, Bill Moore. Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Padgett of Roswell and Linda Williams of Temple; special friend, Sharon Mobley of Temple; daughter-in-law, Sara Moore of Carrollton; 5 grandchildren, Randy and Carol Moore of Suwanee, Roy and Kathy Padgett of Woodstock, Steve and Dedie Padgett of Marietta, CaroleAnn Padgett of Roswell and Stan and Valerie Padgett of Cumming; 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Moore will lie in state at First Baptist Church in Temple, Georgia, Friday, July 22, 2005 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 22, 2005 at 1:00 PM from First Baptist Church in Temple, Georgia with Rev. Larry Boswell and Rev. Carl Billue officiating. Pallbearers will be Roy Padgett, Steve Padgett, Stan Padgett, Randy Moore, Sammy Hathcock and Mayor Lester Harmon. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the First Baptist Church in Temple, Georgia. Interment will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Temple, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, July 21, 2005, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Friday, July 22, 2005 from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
