Mrs. Lois Inez Edwards Vernon, 77, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014. She was born April 5, 1937 in Rockmart, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie Edwards and the late Mrs. Bernice Eula Gaston Edwards. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Wright; and 7 siblings. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Ben Higginbotham of Douglasville; stepchildren; brother, Charlie Edwards of Dallas; three grandchildren, Wesley Wallace, Tye Wallace, Bryson Higginbotham; step grandchild, Brett Higginbotham; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Monday, December 22, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating.
