Lola Katherine Cabe-Mitchell

Mrs. Lola Katherine Cabe-Mitchell, age 84 of Sugar Hill, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in Cumming, Georgia. She was born November 27, 1935 in LaGrange, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Gene Preston Autrey and the late Mrs. Maudie Lee Hester. She loved watching tennis and soccer, doing word searches, playing games and crochet. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Roy Mitchell; children, Raymond Boyce Cabe, John "Pat" Preston Cabe, Diane "Dee" Elaine Simpson; and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by sons and daughters-in-laws, James Luther and Shirley Cabe of Sugar Hill, Georgia, Paul T. and Michelle Cabe of Eminence, Kentucky; brothers and sister-in-law, Alvin Antrey of Orlando, Florida, Nathan and Ruby Autrey of Cartersville, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville.
