Lollie Donaldson

Mrs. Lollie Southern Donaldson, age 81, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Douglasville following an extended illness. She was born February 11, 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. John William Southern Sr. and the late Mrs. Ruby Lemings Southern. She worked as a nursing assistant at Gracewood Learning Center. She was a member of the Villa Rica Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Alexander Donaldson; and brother and sister-in-law, John William Southern, Jr. and Carolyn Southern. She is survived by three nieces and their spouses, Karen and Art Kelley of Villa Rica, Deborah and Philip Loggins of Douglasville, and Brenda and Louis Wilson of Acworth; dear friend, Bee Gee Duncan of Christiansburg, VA; several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Villa Rica Church of God with Rev. Jerry Miller officiating.
