Mr. Lonnie Lee Hardin, age 70, of Lithia Springs, passed away, Tuesday, December 12, 2017. He was born July 19, 1947 in Campbell, MO the son of the late Mr. Chester Lee Hardin and the late Mrs. Mildred Maxine Brown Hardin. Mr. Hardin served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of the Battle Hill Lodge and Bankhead Shrine. Mr. Hardin was a truck driver for many years and rebuilt Chevelles. He was a handyman that could fix anything, very passionate about his grandchildren and was a loving father, always thinking about others first. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Mullinax Hardin of Lithia Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and April Stover of Lithia Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Michael Dyer of Ellijay; seven grandchildren, Lauren and fiancé, Jason, Casey, Drew, Destiny, Abbey, Jaden, Madelyn and special best friend, Dylan; brother, Wayne Hardin of Panama City Beach, FL; sisters, Cheryl Corbitt of Lithia Springs, Wickie Glover of Dallas; several nieces and one nephew also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joe Holcomb officiating. Interment will follow Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Georgia National Cemetery. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Rick Brewer, Tony Brewer, Jack Brewer, Rocky Brewer, Glen Rainwater, Wayne Hardin, Eddie Hardin, Drew Dyer, Jaden Stover, and Casey Dyer. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Special Operations Warrior Foundation, PO Box 89367, Tampa, FL 33689.Messages of condolence many be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
