Lorena Fields

Mrs. Lorena Fernander Fields, age 91, longtime resident of Villa Rica, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 30, 2015. She was born April 6, 1925 in Villa Rica the daughter of the late Mr. Robert James Fernander and the late Mrs. Vera Suddeth Fernander. She was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Winston, retired from the Paradies Company, and was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Howard Lee Fields; infant son, Howard Gregory Fields; brothers, William Fernander, Ronny Fernander, and Jimmy Fernander.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Fields and Bob Glass of Douglasville; son and daughter in law Gary Lee and Patti Fields of Winston; grandchildren, Lori and John Robison, Cathy and Shawn Jackson, Lee and Jessica Fields; great-grandchildren, Lauren Hutcheson and Albert Smith, Kristen Breanne Hutcheson, Melissa and Nathan Padgett, Joshua Hutcheson, Josh Robison, Hannah Robison and Shelby Jackson; great-great grandchildren, Daniel and Emily Baker and Hazel Marie Padgett; brothers and sister-in-law, Melvin and Peggy Fernander, Johnny Fernander, Randy Fernander; sisters and brothers -in-law, Joyce and Herb Franklin, Penny and Don Camp; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM from Ephesus Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Isennock officiating. Mrs. Fields will lie in state from 10:30 AM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Ephesus Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
