Loretta Posey Hall

Loretta Posey Hall, 83, of Douglasville, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023. She was born on February 26, 1940. She is the daughter of the late William Roland Posey and the late Henrietta Jackson Canter.

Loretta possessed an incredible passion for yardwork and her talent for housekeeping was unparalleled. Loretta had a keen eye for detail and took great pride in maintaining an impeccably clean home where everyone felt welcomed.  In addition to her talent in keeping a beautiful house, she had an exceptional knack for decorating.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Hall; son, William “Billy” Hall Jr.; and sister, Linda Baker.

She is survived by her sister, Martha McCain of Douglasville; nieces and nephews, Matthew Baker of Douglasville, Bo Ledford of Acworth, John Ledford of Peachtree City, David Ledford of Athens, AL, Bree Ledford of Douglasville, Ronald Ledford of Murphy, NC, Tammy Ross of Quinton,  AL, Joe Ledford of Waco, GA, Aaron McCain and Shanda McFall both of Douglasville; numerous great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens at 2:00PM.
