Lori London

Mrs. Romanus “Lori” Lorraine London, age 78, of Villa Rica, passed away, September 29, 2015. She was born August 31, 1937 in Pacoima, CA the daughter of the late Mr. Chester Earl Timberlake and the late Mrs. Marian Adele Henry Timberlake. Mrs. London was an avid traveler and member of many community clubs and organizations. She was a tireless volunteer who assisted with numerous projects throughout the years. Mrs. London was a dear friend and extended family member to so many people. She would be honored to know that her connection to the community was so valued and that it touched so many nice people. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Percy London and brother, Douglas Timberlake.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Glenna and Michael Barrett; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Deanna Jones; sister, Linda “Lyn” Cassidy; grandchild, Terrauh Barrett Lawrence and spouse, Alexander Lawrence; grandchild, London Jo Nicosia Jones; great grandchild, Tiger Lily Lawrence; nephew, Scott; niece, Stephanie; cousin, Gerry; many more relatives that she connected with through her passion of genealogy also survive. There will be a celebratory memorial in her honor at the Fairfield Plantation Recreation Center at 2:00 PM. on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Family and friends of Fairfield Plantation have agreed that a permanent memorial would be a lovely way to remember Lori’s gifts to her community. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the “Lori London Fountain”, c/o Fairfield Plantation POA, 265 Fairfield Road, Villa Rica, Georgia 30180.Lori’s family looks forward to meeting everyone and sharing memories.
