Lorraine Smith

Ms. Lorraine “Lorrie” Pekarofski Smith, 56, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born December 7, 1958 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Alvin Ernest George Schiessl and the late Kathleen Pekarofski Schiessl. She was a teacher and a teacher union representative. She was a two time liver transplant recipient and a strong supporter of organ donation. She is survived by her son, Jordan Michael Smith; brother, James Pekarofski of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Pekarofski of New Jersey; two grandchildren; Riley Smith and Grayson Smith; several nieces and nephews.
