Mr. Louis Ceburn Ewing, age 82, of Temple, passed away, Sunday, January 18, 2015. He was born, September 30, 1932 in Belmont, Ms the son of the late Mr. Charlie Ewing and the late Mrs. Cleo Mayhall Ewing. Mr. Ewing was a Deacon since 1960 and a member of Concord Baptist Church since 2000. He worked for Business Card National Press, in paper cutting and binding, as a Supervisor for many years. He was an avid fisherman.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Vernell Ewing McCreary; son, David Louis Ewing; four brothers, Buel Ewing, Voyd Ewing, Wayne Ewing, and Lawrence Ewing; sister, Bea Northington. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline âJackieâ Woodard Ewing of Temple; Tim and Michele McCreary of Villa Rica; sister, Nellie Mae Hall Palmer of Fulton, MS; three grandchildren, Grant and Allison McCreary of Cumming, Mark and Katheryn McCreary of Marion, Iowa, Livia Salgado of Villa Rica; five great- grandchildren, Cecelia McCreary, Carter McCreary of Cumming, Miriam McCreary, Leah McCreary, and Evelyn McCreary all of Marion, Iowa. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM from Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Don Rackley and Mr. Tim McCreary officiating.
