Louise Hardwell

Louise Rainwater Hardwell, age 68, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, September 23, 2019. She was born September 30, 1950 in Louisiana and worked as a nurse in Detroit, Michigan at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Mrs. Hardwell was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Taylor Graham-Hardwell. Mrs. Hardwell is survived by her husband, West Hardwell of Douglasville; her daughters, Tahirrih Williams of Inkster, Michigan and Retonda Hardwell of Farmington, Michigan; her sons, West Hardwell, Jr. of Cumming, Georgia and Ivan Williams, Sr.; her sisters, Mary Winston of Detroit, Michigan, Betty Esters of Oak Park, Michigan and Jackie Rainwater of Alexandria, Louisiana; her brothers, Herman Redman of Douglasville and Willie Rainwater of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Alijah Murphy, Ivan Williams, Jr., Jessica Hardwell, Christopher Williams and Alexander Hardwell; two great-grandchildren, Jamari and Jeremiah; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglasville on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00AM at Morning Star Baptist Church, 306 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Winnfield, Louisiana 77483 with Pastor James Bonner officiating. Repast will also be held at Morning Star Baptist Church. Interment will be in Winnfield Cemetery, Louisiana.
